Adobe Revises Photoshop Express Terms of Use


April 7, 2008 – Adobe has rewritten the terms and conditions for its Photoshop Express beta following customer criticism. The changes, which go into effect April 10, changes language users felt gave Adobe too much freedom to use images posted on Express. According to a release from Adobe, “the original terms of service implied things Adobe would never do with the content within Photoshop Express.”

Sony World Photography Awards Amateur Photographer Results In


The results are in for the Sony World Photography Awards Amateur Photographer of and the proud winner is Arup Ghosh from India. The winners have been chosen out of 25,934 amateur submissions and will travel to Cannes to receive their award at the VIP Gala Evening on 24th April at the Palais des Festivals.

Ghosh will be awarded the prestigious title of ‘Sony World Photography Awards Amateur Photographer of the Year’ as well as a $5,000 cash prize donated by headline sponsor Sony.

Nikon Updates my Picturetown


Nikon has released a new version of the my Picturetown which is a sharing and storage service. The new version boasts of a more intuitive interface and a user-friendly menu. Via my Picturetown, one can send photos directly to Flickr® and also gives 2GB free of photo storage.

Upgrades to my Picturetown include the following:
• The ability to upload RAW (NEF) files viewable as JPEGs
