TrekPod GO! PRO Tripod

The TrekPod GO! PRO moonlights  both as a monopod and a tripod. Weighing 28 ounces, the multi-purpose tool features the  MagMount™ system, which is a quick-release, mounting system that attaches a camera to the new PRO ball head, using a solid magnetic connection. The MagMount PRO ball head is rated for cameras up to 13.5 lbs and when packed he Trek-Pod GO! PRO will fit into carry-on luggage, at 23 x 4 x 2.5 inches.

Gitzo Series 5 Traveler Monopod

The newly announced Gitzo Series 5 Traveler Monopod claims to be the “World’s first monopod, dedicated to sport photographers”. On folding. the monopod measures only 41cm extending to an eye-level 153.5cm when fully extended. It has a maximum load capacity of 25Kg , weighs around 780grams and one can also order a 2008 Olympics special edition.
