Camcorder Info on Nikon D90's Video Capabilities

added on 2008-10-28 06:17:00
by Tanya Palta

Our sister site, Camcorder Info have posted an in-depth analysis  on the video capabilities of the Nikon D90. For the uninitiated, the Nikon D90 is the world’s first DSLR to record video. While Nikon has taken the right step with the Nikon D90, the camera does suffer from “first generation syndrome”. Long usage tends to overheat the camera and autofocus was found to be “non-existent”.

Excerpt from review:
“The Nikon D90 disappointed us with most of its video performance. While it did capture wonderful colors in low light, it couldn't compete against dedicated HD camcorders in most shooting conditions.
