The Phase One 645 Camera system is now shipping to customers worldwide and is available through Phase One dealers who can provide a demo of the system and full pricing details.
The Phase One 645 camera system is available today in a choice of five different configurations, based on selected digital camera back: P 45+ (maximum resolution, fine details at 39 mega pixels), P 30+ (up to ISO 1600 sensitivity, fast capture, 31 mega pixels); P 25+ (near full-frame at affordable price, noise-free exposures up to 1 hour, 22 mega pixels), P 21+ (fast, unlimited burst capacity, small RAW file size, 18 mega pixels ), P 20+ (1:1 aspect ratio, cost effective, entry-level solution, 16 mega pixels).

The latest offer by Leaf America is targeted at the medium format digital photographers. Buyers of a new Leaf Aptus 75, 65, or 22 back, or the Aptus S equivalent in Mamiya AFD mount, will receive a Mamiya 645 AFDII camera free of charge, with an automatic upgrade to a new AFDIII at no charge.
The new camera also offers 2nd curtain sync for flash photography, electronic buttons to control metering modes and exposure compensation, and accepts alkaline-magnesium or lithium batteries as well as nickel-hydrogen AA batteries.

Phase One A/S and Mamiya Digital Imaging Co unveiled the open medium format digital camera platform, the Phase One 645 Camera or the Mamiya 645AFDII. Targeted at the professional photographer, the camera accepts all quality digital camera backs and also supports traditional film operation.
The Phase One 645 Camera or the Mamiya 645AFDII is compatible with a plethora of high-end lenses including; the complete Mamiya 645 lens range, the new 28mm aspherical and D series lenses, as well as Hasselblad V-lenses and Pentacon Six lenses. It is designed to achieve shutter speeds from 1/4000 sec. to 60 minutes. The first pre-production units will be demonstrated this week at the Photo Imaging Expo.
“Phase One and Mamiya have taken the first step in delivering a unique approach to designing camera systems,” said Henrik Håkonsson, CEO of Phase One. “We believe that equipment interoperability and personal choice are integral values in realizing the highest quality imaging results.
