 Nikon has released a new DVD called "A Hands-on Guide to Creative Lighting" that teaches viewers advanced creative lighting techniques. What makes this legitimate is that Nikon has been able to rope in award-winning National Geographic Traveler photographer Bob Krist and world-renowned photojournalist and lighting expert, Joe McNally.
Topics include direction, color and quality of light, Speedlight placement, working with wireless flash and creative use of alternative flash sync modes and you can purchase it for $39.95

 Memorex announced the availability Memorex SimpleSave Photo & Video Back-Up DVD which aims to provide a safe back up solution. The discs are record-once DVDs with embedded software that can automatically organize and back up multimedia files like images and videos.
One can store upto 2,000 photos on a single disc and the SimpleSave software also alerts a user about how many discs are needed to back up all photo and video files.
Memorex SimpleSave Photo & Video Back-Up DVDs are available in packs of five discs with slim storage cases for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $14.99 per pack. The discs are available this summer at Fry’s Electronics and OfficeMax stores nationwide.
