The Canon 50D DSLR is Official

 The Canon 50D DSLR is official after weeks of speculation. The 15 megapixel DSLR comes equipped with the new DIGIC IV processor and includes ISO upto 12,800 in full resolution. The 50D has a Live View Mode with face detection capabilities and the on board HDMI ensures connectivity to HD televisions. The Canon 50D will be available in October for $1399 (body only).
