After a successful run with its first ultra zoom Cyber-shot DSC-H1, Sony released the 7.2 megapixel H5 and 6 megapixel H2. These digital cameras come with Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 12x zoom lenses and the Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization that came on the popular H1. The new models include high ISO sensitivities with a top rating of ISO 1000. The H5 has a huge 3-inch LCD screen and the H2 has a smaller 2-inch screen. Both cameras improve on the H1’s resolution and features. The Sony H5 will be available in May for $499 and the H2 will sell for $399 – the same current price as the H1 – when it debuts on store shelves in April.
