The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W35 is the latest entry-level addition to Sony's W-series. The DSC-W35 continues the sleek style and quality internals found in earlier incarnations; it features a 1/2.5-inch Super HAD 7.2 MP CCD, a Carl Zeiss 3x optical zoom lens, and compatibility with accessory lenses, lights, and flash units. The budget-priced Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W35 will enter the market at a MSRP of $179.99.

The camera also features a handful of shooting modes, a plethora of movie mode settings, and a High Sensitivity mode for shooting at up to ISO 1000. This digital camera isn’t all success, however, with an underwhelming 2-inch LCD with a measly 85,000 pixels and a poorly placed flash and microphone. The overall construction falters in comparison to more expensive Cyber-shot cameras that are currently on the market. The budget-priced Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W35 will enter the market at a MSRP of $179.99.
