Solid color performance
Noise results are strong
Great resolution scores
Almost no manual controls
Introduction
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX9 (MSRP $399.99) is an impressive camera. With stunning 12.1-megapixel photos, 1080/60i video, crisp touchscreen controls, and a wealth of auto modes, there is very little we can say to insult the TX9. It is considerably lacking in manual image controls, but what it lacks in sophistication, it makes up for in style.
