Digital SLR Blog Home > Digital SLR Blog Samsung Unveils 64GB Memory Chip Tanya Palta added on November 25, 2007 Samsung is making waves with its newly announced 64 Gigabit (Gb) multi level cell (MLC) NAND flash memory chip.  Using the 30-nanometer(nm)-class process technology , the chip can be combined to make a 128 GB memory card , which can hold around 80 DVD resolution movies, 64,000 quality JPEG images and 32,000 MP3 files. Samsung expects to begin production of 30nm-class 64Gb flash devices in 2009.
