Specs & RatingsConclusion

The SL620 is a good entry level point-and-shoot. It forsakes manual controls and advanced features for automatic settings and an incredibly shallow learning curve. You could be utterly unfamiliar with digital cameras and learn to use the SL620. This is partially thanks to an extensive help menu with tutorials and demonstrations. The camera is also priced appropriately. If you're looking for a camera for a neophyte, the SL620 seems to be a good option.
