Samsung Introduces L-Series Trio

The trio features 3x optical zoom lenses and 2.5-inch LCD screens. In addition, all three have face detection technology that can automatically expose and focus up to nine faces. They also feature a Self Portrait mode that utilizes face detection technology. An Auto Red Eye Fix mode is available in all three cameras, or red eyes can be eliminated post-capture in Playback mode.
The new L-series cameras feature a Multi-Slide Show mode, which allows users to choose between five transitions and add preloaded music or their own MP3s to slide shows. MPEG-4 movies can be recorded in SVGA (800 x 592) resolution, and optical zoom and digital image stabilization can be employed in Movie mode. In addition, the Successive Recording mode allows users to pause and continue recording without saving each clip as an individual file.
All three cameras also feature the Function Description mode for beginners, which provides a brief explanation for each function, and a Photo Help Guide, which takes new users through a tutorial on how to take better pictures.
