April 2, 2007 – Ricoh last week announced a firmware update for its 8.13-megapixel GR Digital compact camera. Firmware version 2.3 corrects a bug in its movie mode and gives users more color mode options.
The update includes the following:
- A fix to movie sound when playing a file in Windows Vista.
- The addition of Sepia as an option in the color modes settings.
- The ability to change contrast and sharpness values in the black-and-white and sepia modes.
- A bracketing feature that allows users to shoot black-and-white, color, and sepia versions of a photo at the same time.
