December 16, 2005 - Ricoh has just released firmware update v1.27 for the Caplio R3 camera. The update will improve the accuracy of the AF algorithm in the macro mode, as well as the camera’s vibration correction function. It also includes all previous firmware updates such as November’s update which improved the spot AF algorithm accuracy.
