Realiz HDR Software Bundle Discounted
June 25, 2007 – Imaging processing software maker Realviz recently announced HDR Imaging Studio, a high dynamic range software bundle. It includes Stitcher 5.6, VTour 1.2 HDR, and Photomatrix. The bundle will be offered at a 15 percent discount until June 30. "The REALVIZ HDR Imaging Studio, combines Stitcher® 5.6, VTour 1.2 HDR and Photomatrix Pro, and is the only software bundle available today for the creation of HDR environments for virtual reality, industrial design, special effects and video game applications, starting from digital snapshots and panoramas," stated a company press release.
The Windows-based HDR bundle includes Realviz Stitcher Unlimited 5.6, launched in May. This HDR panoramic stitching program allows users to load and stitch high dynamic range photos. A high dynamic range photo is comprised of images of different exposures combined to increase dynamic range. Stitcher Unlimited aims to create realistic-looking environmental maps.
The bundle also includes VTour 1.2 HDR, which creates 3D images from 2D photos, according to the release. Photomatrix Pro is a stand-alone application that batch processes blown-out images using Tone Mapping and Exposure Blending.
The Realviz HDR Imaging Studio suite normally retails for $2580. It is available for $2193, a 15 percent discount, until the end of the month.
