PictoColor Releases Color Correction Software
March 28, 2007 – Software developer PictoColor Corp. yesterday released iCorrect EditLab ProApp 6.0 for color correcting large volumes of photos including converted RAW images. The latest version of PictoColor’s iCorrect retails for an introductory price of $99.95, available at the online store. 
"With its highly-acclaimed technology, smartly arranged tools, and workflow enhancing features, iCorrect EditLab ProApp will save hours and minimize the frustration of making color adjustments so photographers can spend less time in front of the computer and more time behind the camera," stated a company press release yesterday. Under the slogan of "The best shortcut to perfect color," this PowerPC and Intel-based Mac compatible program allows users to correct images as singles or in batches. There are four tool panels with editing functions including color balance, brightness, and saturation adjustment. Basic automatic editing tools include SmartColor which analyzes an image for initial color correction and has a Previous Settings tool to recall edits from a previous photo.
Used with a RAW converter, iCorrect EditLab ProApp can also handle large files of RAW images, according to PictoColor.
Existing iCorrect EditLab ProApp users can make the upgrade to version 6.0 for $79.95. For new users, the price will later rise to $149.95, according to the release, and is currently available at http://www.pictocolor.com/editlabproapp.htm.
