Boston, MA, April 4, 2007 – Today marks the first day of Photoshop World Conference & Expo XVII, the largest gathering of Photoshop professionals, located at the John B. Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Mass. Thousands will attend the event - what the conference website calls a “three-day Photoshop love fest of training, learning, and fun.”
Sponsored by Adobe Systems Inc. and produced by the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, Photoshop World attracts local and international photographers and creative professionals who come to partake in seminars and view the latest tech products.
The conference coincides with the launch of Creative Suite 3, the biggest in Adobe’s history. This year’s Photoshop World is the first ever to sell out.
“Adobe uses Photoshop World as a platform to showcase new technology,” said NAPP President Scott Kelby after giving a light-hearted dance performance of a CS3-versed Temptations song at this morning’s opening keynote address.
This year’s Photoshop World attendees will be the “first to get an in-depth look at CS3 Extended,” said Kelby.
