Photoshop Plug-in Power Stroke 1.0 Launched

Power StrokeAugust 6, 2007 – Software developer Digital Film Tools has released Power Stroke version 1.0, an Adobe Photoshop plug-in targeted at digital photographers, graphic designers, and artists. As the name implies, Power Stroke uses a stroke-based interface that allows users to isolate sections of a photo for correction. Power Stroke retails for $120 and is compatible with Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 and higher.

“Instead of meticulously selecting regions or hand painting masks, regions of interest are isolated by drawing a few simple brush strokes with adjustments then made only in those areas,” states the company website.

Using digital brush strokes, users can correct color, saturation, fill light, blur, or add color filters such as black and white.

Power Stoke 1.0 is compatible with Windows XP and higher and Mac OS X 10.4 and higher. Users can download Power Stroke 1.0 here.
