Photo-sharing site Zimbio.com Links with Kodak Gallery
August 30, 2006 – Online public portal site www.zimbio.com announced yesterday a new "linked services" with Kodak EasyShare Gallery. Zimbio community members have direct access to the photo albums on multiple topics. Users of Zimbio can post discussion forums and links on topics, varying from Flamenco Dancing to J.K. Rowling. The added Kodak Gallery feature now allows users to directly link their Kodak photo albums onto posts, ideal for the categories of Photography and Wedding Photography.
Geared towards hobbyists, the website allows users to see "what other people are reading, saying, and recommending about the topic," stated yesterday’s Zimbio press release. 'By providing companies like Zimbio with our photo sharing services and specialty products, we're expanding our reach and enriching the social networking experience with photos,' said Kodak senior director of partnerships David Westendorf in the release.
