Pentax Posts K100D Firmware Update 1.01


August 9, 2006 – Pentax Imaging Co. recently released a firmware update to their newest DSLR, K100D version 1.01.

With version 1.01, the K100D firmware update can now support SDHC memory cards, according to the Pentax website. The update also corrects a bug in Pentax Photo Browser 3 and now accurately displays focal length information in the shake-reduction menu.

Pentax reminds users of the update to format their SD media cards and use fresh batteries, according to the update.

Pentax released the K100D as its anti-shake DSLR model in May 2006.
