May 2, 2007 – Pentax is offering a “plethora of rebates,” according to the company website, for DSLR bodies, select lenses, flashes, battery grips, and a few entry-level point-and-shoots. Among the camera rebates is a coupon for $50 off its K100D or K10D SLRs.
The consumer K100D SLR was introduced at an original price of $599. With the current $50 rebate, the K100D, now at a price $549, competes with other consumer DSLRs such as the Nikon D40 kit ($599.95).
