Panasonic UK has announced customers purchasing its L10 DSLR through the end of April will receive a free 16GB SDHC memory card.
The L10 is Panasonic's second SLR - it was released in October for a retail price of $1,299.95 USD. It's an entry-level SLR meant for consumers transitioning from pocket point-and-shoots to more sophisticated cameras. The L10 has 10.1 megapixels, face detection technology, a rotating 2.5-inch LCD with live view, and a dust reduction system.
The 16GB SDHC memory card was released in November, with a retail price of $319.99 USD. A Class 6 model, the 16GB card transfers files at a rate of 20 Mbps, the industry maximum. The card can store upward of 6,000 images, depending on resolution, and can be used to view images on several of Panasonic's HDTVs with built-in SDHC slots.
