Connectivity / ExtrasPicture Quality / Size Options (7.0)
The picture quality is controlled on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC50 by entering the LCD menu and choosing the Quality heading. Once there, the user can choose between six squares and three squares. The six squares indicate fine quality, which is a low compression rate, and the three squares are a higher compression rate for standard image quality. There are 5 image sizes available: 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480 and 1920 x 1080, with motion video captured at 320 x 240. Picture quality options are not accessible in Movie mode.
Picture Effects Options(7.0)
The Picture/Photo Effect options for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC50 are located within the menu settings, under the heading of Color Effect. Once within this category, the user can choose among the following options: Cool, Warm, Black & White, and Off. Beneath these settings, within the main screen of the Menu, the user will discover the Pict. Adj. features, which controls Natural, Standard, and Vivid image controls.
