June 6, 2007 – Olympus Europe today posted on its website a teaser for its new flagship DSLR, a design concept that has been discussed since last year. The post displays images of the Evolt E-410 and E-510, the predecessors to the new model, and the new camera under wraps.

The design concept for the new DSLR was first announced at
Photokina 2006 under the title, “next E-Pro Concept.” More details about the camera prototype were released at
PMA 2007. According to past press releases, the upcoming Olympus DSLR will feature a Live View LCD screen (also available on the Evolt E-410 and E-510 models), a true digital design, and a dust reduction system.
