February 8, 2007 – Olympus has cut the price of the Evolt E-400, that is called the world’s smallest DSLR. Although Olympus has not made an official announcement, an Olympus UK press representative confirmed the new price for the E-400 body will now be £600 ($1,174 US) , £600-650 ($1,174-$ 1,273 US) for the single lens kit, and £650-700 ($1,273-$1,371 US) for the double lens kit.

Measuring 5.09 x 3.58 x 2.08 inches, the Olympus E-400 was first announced in September for a retail price of £700 ($1,273 US) for the single lens kit with body and £850 ($1,664 US) for the double lens kit. The camera comes with four-thirds compatibility, Supersonic Wave Filter dust reduction, and an underwater setting.
