June 22, 2006 – Today, Olympus released firmware updates for two of their EVOLT DSLR cameras: version 1.2 for the E-330 and version 1. 4 for the E-300.
The E-330 version 1.2 updates auto-focusing functions, now possible in the Macro Live Preview mode. Version 1.2 also offers support for high speed flash cards and an improved battery indicator.
The E-300 version 1.4 improves auto-focusing in low light situations. Both upgrades improve exposure metering in macro mode and when using spot metering.
