Very full-featured DSLRs for under $1,000 are becoming common. With a 10-megapixel Four-Thirds format sensor, dust control, live preview and image stabilization, Olympus's EVOLT E-510 has all the hot features of the sub-$1,000 DSLR category. It's also a small, good-looking DSLR to boot.
We looked over the E-510 at the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) trade show in Las Vegas. Though we couldn't evaluate image quality or even save images on the sample cameras - we have a good idea of the E-510's interface and functions. On that basis, it's a camera sure to pique the interest of Olympus fans.
