Olympus E-P2 Hands-On Gallery

The Olympus E-P1 (left) is available in silver and white. The E-P2 comes in basic black.

Olympus developed a zoom lens that collapses for extra portability when not in use.

The Olympus E-P2 zoom lens extended.

The major physical difference between the E-P1 and E-P2 is this accessory port.

The electronic viewfinder fits into the hot shoe and the electrical port underneath.

We found the electronic viewfinder uncomfortable when it was in the straight-ahead position shown here.

Raising the EVF on its front hinge keeps you from bumping your nose into the camera body.

The microphone adapter fits in the new accessory port. Pricing has not been announced.

The USB, AV and HDMI ports are positioned on the side of the camera.

The E-P2 will ship in December 2009 priced at $1099 with lens and viewfinder.
