Section The Good The Bad
x Product Tour Highly portable; nice articulated screen design; solidly built  Small, stubby grip; some buttons small and difficult to press
x Color Very good color reproduction accuracy Long exposure unimpressive, particularly long exposure noise
x Noise Noise reduction settings effective (at the expense of detail) Very high image noise compared to competing models
x Resolution High marks for sharpness; distortion and chromatic aberration low for inexpensive lens Poor dynamic range performance will limit detail in high-contrast environments
x White Balance Auto WB very accurate in daylight Mediocre results for auto WB in fluorescent light, typical poor performance for incandescent illumination
x Playback Good selection of playback screen displays; in-camera multiple exposures easy to create; nice direct print implementation Limited in-camera editing functions
x Hardware Iluminated back buttons; extensive flash controls; accepts both xD and CF cards Proprietary AV/USB cables
x Controls Nice range of Live View displays; lots of scene modes; interesting Art Filters Live View doesn't pan smoothly; depth of field preview monopolizes single programmable Fn button; Art Filters can't be adjusted
x Design & Handling Small, lightweight body; highly customizable controls Difficult maneuvering for shooters with large hands; useful settings buried in menu system; difficult manual
