October 23, 2006 – Olympus Canada Inc. announced on Friday the launch of the new website www.olympuscanada.com and a new digital camera service center in Markham, Ontario, for Canadian consumers.
“Olympus is committed to serving the Canadian market,” said Olympus Canada president Mark Gumz about the new services in an Oct. 19th press release. “We take pride in designing and introducing innovative digital photography products, and we want to ensure that we have the local resources in place to support our consumers and our products,” he said.
The new website includes Canadian-specific pricing of Olympus products and links to the digital camera service center, which officially opened its doors last month.
“This marks a new era for our Canadian consumers and dealers,” said Gumz.
Olympus Canada is a subsidiary of the parent company Olympus Corp. based in Tokyo.
