Introduction

The Nikon S6300 is a compact 10x optical zoom point-and-shoot with a host of creative filters and shooting modes built into the camera. Pegged by Nikon as the ideal "family camera," the S6300 is designed to be flexible enough to capture decent photos in nearly any condition. The camera features simple design, an intuitive menu system, a 16-megapixel CMOS image sensor, and the ability to record full 1080/30p HD video. The S6300 will be available beginning this February in red, blue, black, and silver for a suggested retail price of $199.95.
