Specs & RatingsConclusion

The Nikon S230 isn't going to set anyone's heart aflutter with its features. Priced at $229.95 we're pretty sure that price will drop down relatively quickly. The signature feature, the 3-inch touch screen LCD, does a solid job, as good as any other touch screen interface we've seen and better than many. Apart from that, however, you're looking at what is a relatively typical pocketable point and shoot camera. Once the price drops we're sure that it'll find its way into the pockets of people looking for something small and cute, but if you're serious about your photography you'll want to look elsewhere.
