The Nikon P90 has a comfortable design to go along with its tremendous 24x zoom capability. We liked the feel of the right side grip and the button placement was solid all around. We were also impressed with the vari-angle LCD screen that offers a 135-degree tilt. The camera could have used a bit more precise manual control options, but it has enough to please most users who are looking to experiment with manual apertures and shutter speeds.
If you're looking for other cameras that pack an impressive optical zoom, check out the Olympus SP-590U (26x zoom), the Kodak Z980 (24x), and the recently announced Pentax X70 (also 24x).
