December 14, 2005 – Nikon released a software update for Nikon Capture, version 4.4.0. The software update improves tones in highlight areas, adds a black and white option to Color Mode in the Advanced Raw tool palette, and supports RAW images on the newly-added D200. It also supports six additional Coolpix cameras and eleven additional SLRs. The newly supported cameras are: SLRs: D1 D1H D1X D100 D2H D2Hs D2x D200 D50 D70 D70s COOLPIX: 5000 5400 5700 8400 8700 8800 Please note that users must be using Nikon View version 6.2.7 and must have installed earlier versions 4.2.0-4.3.2 before updating with version 4.4.0.
