July 13, 2007 – Digital electronics manufacturer Mustek today launched its Travelfoto, a multi-function desktop accessory that includes both a digital frame and alarm clock. The Mustek Travelfoto will retail for $39.99 when the device becomes available in August.
Mustek, which manufactures digital cameras, camcorders, and digital photo frames, adds the Travelfoto combining a digital viewer with alarm clock functionality.
“Besides showcasing favorite photos, TRAVELFOTO also has a practical side,” stated the company press release today. “Its bright LCD displays time and date with year, along with indoor temperature. In addition, its alarm clock has a buzzer to wake up even the heaviest sleeper.”
Travelfoto is fitted with a 1.5-inch LCD screen that can display JPEG or BMP digital photos. Users can upload their photos to the device via a USB 1.1 connection and store images on the Travelfoto’s internal memory. Photos also can be viewed as slideshows.
The Mustek Travelfoto desktop digital photo display and alarm clock includes a lithium battery and (2) AAA batteries.
