Kodak Unveils Trio of 12MP Cameras: Z950, M381, and M341
July 29, 2009 – Kodak has announced three new point and shoots: the compact ultrazoom EasyShare Z950, the svelte EasyShare M381 and the EasyShare
M341, all of which shoot 12MP images.
The Z950 (right) is a compact ultrazoom, with an optically stabilized
10x zoom lens. It has a large, 3-inch LCD, and an ISO range of 100-1600, with ISO 3200 available at reduced resolution. The camera will also be able to record HD video. The Z950 will be on shelves in August, 2009 for $279.99.
The M381 (left) is a slim point-and-shoot, with a 5x optical zoom (35-175mm equivalent), 3-inch LCD, and ISO settings up to 1600. It will hit stores in September 2009, for $179.99, in Black Olive, Light Steel Blue (shown), and Wine Red.
Finally, also to be released in September 2009, is the M341, which has a 3x optical zoom, and smaller 2.7-inch LCD. It will come in Grey Silver, Classic Kodak Red, Satin Black, Deep Orchid, and Light Blue, with an asking price of $149.
