Kodak, Olympus, Sony, Casio Offer Credit for Trade-ins

November 8, 2006 – In conjunction with Dealtree Services, Inc., Kodak, Olympus , Sony, and Casio are currently offering a credit towards new cameras for trading in old digital cameras and camcorders.

For users looking to upgrade their gadgets this holiday season, the major manufacturers offer a credit towards their new cameras for trading in their older models for any brand of SLR, point-and-shoot, and in some cases, camcorders.

Customers receive an initial estimated quote of their old cameras, based on megapixel count, optical zoom, among other features.  Dealtree then verifies the condition of the camera to offer a credit towards an upgrade.

In addition to the trade-in savings, Casio also offers $20 back for purchasing the Exilim Z600, Z700, or Z850.  For purchasing the Z1000, customers will receive $50 back.
