November 17, 2006 – Kodak announced on Wednesday its partnership with Simple Star to offer users of its EasyShare Gallery an opportunity to create DVD slideshows. The PhotoShow DVD for Kodak EasyShare Gallery is available now for $19.99 for each DVD.
With over 50 million members, Kodak EasyShare’s online gallery allows users to create photo gifts including portfolio books, holiday cards, pillow cases, and now DVD slideshows.
“Kodak customers can move their own entertaining mini movie featuring personal touches like music, transitions, and customizable packing,” stated today’s release.
Users can include up to 150 photos on their DVD with boarders, transition effects, and music. The DVDs come in a variety of themes including wedding and travel. At the end of end slideshows, users have the option to include their own credits, similar to the movies.
The PhotoShow DVD can be played on any standard DVD player or computer with a DVD-ROM drive. The PhotoShow DVD is available now at http://www.kodakgallery.com/DVDOverview.jsp.
