August 8, 2006 – With the advent of four new EasyShare cameras, Eastman Kodak Co. introduced today the EasyShare G600 Printer Dock. The 60-second printer dock will be available this month at the retail price of $149.95.
The portable PictBridge G600 dock comes with a built-in handle “to print and play on the go,” according to today’s press release from Kodak. The printer dock is equipped with Kodak’s signature one-touch feature for printing in 60 seconds, stated the release.
The G600 printer ranks as a moderately priced, middle-tier dock in Kodak’s printer dock series. The G600 is similarly priced with the slower EasyShare Printer Dock that possesses a 90-second print speed. The G600 is the cheapest of the 60-second EasyShare docks, costing less than the wi-fi enabled Plus Series 3 at $179.95 and the wi-fi Printer Dock Plus at $199.95.
For an additional $49.95, customers can purchase an optional battery pack.
The EasyShare G600 Printer includes Kodak EasyShare photo managing software.
