Kodak Expands Service and Support Operations

April 25, 2006 – Kodak has expanded its worldwide operations to include new offices in Israel, Poland, and South Africa, the company announced yesterday. The offices will house Kodak’s Service & Support departments to maintain a more local presence and to attract new clients who are looking for conveniently located products and support.

“A direct field presence in Israel, Poland, and South Africa is a significant step in our ability to improve service availability for current and future worldwide manufacturers,” said Colin Cooke, Kodak’s European business development director, in yesterday’s release. “It provides Kodak significant competitive advantage to help secure service relationships with more and more partners and enterprise customers. People want local support to ensure total equipment reliability from an organization they can trust to deliver.”

The Kodak Service & Support department has been around for over 40 years and employs about 3,300 engineers and technical specialists. These professionals will service and maintain document imaging equipment, commercial print systems, and software and storage media. The department also runs offices in Asia, Australia, Europe, and America.
