Introduction
The Kodak EasyShare Z915 is the company's entry into the growing market of very compact ultrazoom cameras. The Z915 packs a 10x optical zoom into a form factor that isn't quite as small as competitors, but still small enough to fit easily into most jacket pockets. It also lags behind competitors in several other respects, with a smaller LCD and no HD video recording. It does beat out the competition in one of the most important areas, however, as Kodak will be selling the Z915 for only $199.95 starting in April. We had the opportunity to work with a pre-production version at the PMA trade show in Las Vegas.
