Kodak Cuts 330 Positions In France

March 29, 2006 - Reuters reports that Kodak is cutting 330 jobs in Chalon-sur-Saone, France, as part of its long-term massive restructuring efforts. The layoffs will cost Kodak $85 million, with about half of it going towards severance pay.

Readers may recall that Kodak is scheduled to be finished with its film-to-digital transition at the end of next year. The report indicates that nearly three-quarters of Kodak’s planned job cuts have already been made.
