Flash memory vending machines. The first machine was unveiled this week at Gatwick Airport in London. The companies plan to place the machines in high-traffic locations throughout the U.K.
Memory cards are the latest product to be offered via vending machine; iPods, cell phones, and a host of other products are now sandwiched between soda and snack food. Companies, including Kingston, aim to give consumers easy access to products 24/7.
“The move to vending machines is in direct response to changing consumer lifestyle habits, a greater emphasis on convenience and increased demand for high capacity Flash Memory products,” states the MyMemory website.
