Fujifilm Offers $100 Rebate for FinePix S9000
April 3, 2006 – Consumers looking for the Fujifilm FinePix S9000 can now find it with a rebate. Fujifilm is offering a $100 rebate from April 1-June 30, 2006. This is no April Fools Day joke. The rebate can be found at www.fujifilmrebates.com and is only valid through authorized retailers. The Fujifilm FinePix S9000 debuted in the summer of 2005 with its 9 megapixels in an SLR-shaped body. The S9000 has a Fujinon 10.7x optical zoom lens and a 1.8-inch LCD monitor that folds out of the camera and tilts in several directions. The digital camera stands somewhere between low-end DSLRs and high-end compact models with its SLR-shaped frame. Its price point is located in between the two markets as well at $699 retail.
The Fujifilm FinePix S9000 has manual and priority modes and accepts both CompactFlash and xD-Picture cards. It has five scene modes and a live preview on its LCD. With its feature set borrowing from both compact and DSLR markets, the S9000 shows its position among other digital cameras.
