Fujifilm Unveils New Logo

July 12, 2006 – Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. announced today the introduction of their new logo, representing Fuji’s new group management company, Fujifilm Holdings Corporation.

“The introduction of the new corporate brand logo along with the new company name is aimed to clearly express this transformation and expansion in business domain,” stated Fuji’s press release today.

The current Fujifilm logo was first introduced in 1992 and was an adaptation of the old red hexagon logo introduced 26 years ago. Fujifilm’s new brand label erases the hexagon and opts for a simple black text with an accented red mark in the middle. “The dash of red expresses its determination for continuous innovation,” stated the release.

The new management company, FujiFilm Holdings Corp. will be launched on October 1, along with the new logo. The holding group will also manage Fujifilm Corp. and Fuji Xerox Co.

Fujifilm will also continue to use green as their company color, according to the release. The new Fujifilm logo will be used on all products, advertising, and supplies.
