Fujifilm introduced the Fujifilm FinePix V10 at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show in January 2006. The V10 is marketed as an ingenious fusion between a digital camera and a video gaming device. Indeed, Fujifilm’s marketing slogan was, “Changing the Game.” The 5.1 megapixel digital camera has a 1/2.5-inch CCD that is similar to the one found in the highly acclaimed FinePix F10, along with a 3.4x optical zoom lens and 3-inch, 230K pixel LCD screen. Like many recent Fujifilm releases, the FinePix V10 is designed for available light shooting with a wide ISO range that extends from 64-1600. The Fujifilm FinePix V10 is “changing the game” in March for a retail price of $349.

Fujifilm introduced the Fujifilm FinePix V10 at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show in January 2006. The V10 is marketed as an ingenious fusion between a digital camera and a video gaming device. Indeed, Fujifilm’s marketing slogan was, “Changing the Game.” Convergence has been a hot topic with digital cameras; more are including video-friendly features and music-playing capabilities. The V10 however is the first camera to include games. The 5.1 megapixel digital camera has a 1/2.5-inch CCD that is similar to the one found in the highly acclaimed FinePix F10. The Fujifilm FinePix V10 has a distinctive square-shaped metal body and a 3.4x optical zoom lens that extends from the otherwise flat front. With a 3-inch, 230K pixel LCD screen, the FinePix V10 is set up for great slide shows. While the camera is mainly automatic, it does have a wide ISO range that extends from 64-1600. This allows consumers to snap pictures of their sleeping babies and their candlelight dinners in natural light rather than firing the harsh flash. The Fujifilm FinePix V10 is “changing the game” in March for a retail price of $349.
