The Fujifilm S1500 looks like a solid camera for its price point. It's relatively compact, and the bulk it does have allows for easier handling. The camera has some nice manual options along with a good array of automatic ones. The controls are intuitive enough. The 12x zoom is slightly better than average, but nothing too special.
