The Fujifilm FinePix F31fd swipes many of the F30's great characteristics and adds in a few more perks. The face detection is the headlining feature, of course, with the "fd" making an appearance in the model name. The technology was first introduced in the summer on the Fujifilm S6000fd, but the F31fd is the first point-and-shoot digital camera to include it. Another trendy addition is the infrared communication to compatible IrSimple devices including other F31fd digital cameras. With a 6th generation 6.3-megapixel Super CCD and Real Photo processor II, the Fujifilm FinePix F31fd offers ISO sensitivity up to 3200 for better pictures in low light, semi-manual functionality, and amazing battery life for a $399 retail price.

Conclusion
The Fujifilm FinePix F31fd comes with the 6.3-megapixel Super CCD that has made the F-series known for its clean pictures. The sensor allows for pictures to be taken in just about any lighting with its wide ISO range up to 3200. The natural-looking i-Flash helps illuminate subjects too. The F31fd has trendy new technology that recognizes up to ten faces at a time and while tracking and focusing on them. This is great for portraits, and it keeps faces properly exposed. The new camera also has IrSimple technology for wirelessly communicating with other enabled devices. The techy digital camera comes as a jazzed up version of the F30. Fujifilm’s F30 was a good thing, and it is made better in the F31fd. The combination of cool technology, manual control, and all-around easy functionality makes the Fujifilm FinePix F31fd a standout digital camera.
