Fujifilm Cuts FinePix F30 and F20 Prices


November 1, 2006 - Fujifilm U.S.A announced today price reductions for the 6.3-megapixel, high ISO FinePix F30 and F20 cameras. The Fuji F30 will now retail for $329 and the F20 for $229.

The Fuji FinePix F30 originally retailed at $399 when it was introduced in February and will now be selling for $70 less. The camera was the first entry level camera to include the high sensitivity range up to ISO 3200, according to Fuji’s press release today. The Fuji F30 is equipped with the Real Photo Processor II for reduced noise and Picture Stabilization.

The little sister Fuji FinePix F20 camera originally retailed at $299 when Fuji announced the camera in July and will now be selling for $70 less. The F20 has a sensitivity of 2000 ISO.


For some extra bucks, consumers can buy the F30’s successor, the FinePix F31fd which was announced recently at Photokina 2006. The 6.3-megapixel FinePix F31fd adds face detection technology and sports an ISO 3200 max sensitivity setting. The F31fd currently retails for $399.
