Fuji Reduces Price of FinePix V10

July 10, 2006 – Last week, Fujifilm announced the price of its compact FinePix V10 will drop from $349 to $299, two months after its release.

“This peppy camera gives photographers more bang for their buck,” stated yesterday’s Fuji press release.

The FinePix V10’s $50 price reduction follows a series of price adjustments made by the manufacturer on other models, including the E900 in May, as well as the FinePix S5200, A400, and the A500, which all received price drops last month.

The 5.1-megapixel V10 is backed by a 5th generation Super CCD HR and has a 3.4x optical zoom lens. The camera utilizes Fujifilm’s Real Photo Technology and offers ISO sensitivities up to 1600, along with a unique “Natural Light & with Flash mode” to aid in low light situations.

Along with its 3-inch 230,000 pixel LCD screen, the V10 also includes a handful of video games.

The V10 was introduced in January and was released in March.
